This painting of Claudette Colvin is a group project about people who didn't get credit for making history.

My project examines and explores the different types of Powwow dancing as well as taking a closer look at Native traditions. I present multiple types of dancing, the history and differences of each dance.

My project is a research project about Frida Kahlo. It's about her art,and her story - I find her so fascinating and I love her style. I find her very inspiring and creative.

This video was my junior presentation. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I wanted to research how it affects the body and what can be done to treat the disease. I used my treatment team, my doctors, and public research studies for information.

The project is about indigenous aboriginal people in Australia and focuses a lot on the impact of colonization, culture, and religion.
Email project details to info@mnlcn.org — include the school, grade, subject, a one-paragraph description, and a couple of photos or links if you have them.
What gets featured: student work that engages a real audience or solves a real problem, that students themselves can speak to and defend, and that maps to one of the seven principles.
MLCN member schools and other Minnesota schools doing student-centered work are both welcome to submit — we feature what fits.
