What members get.
- An equity-focused community — Connect with educators across Minnesota who are doing student-centered, anti-racist work in real classrooms — charter, district, alternative, traditional.
- School visits, workshops, storytelling — In-person school visits and convenings throughout the year, plus storytelling events that surface what's actually working.
- Compensated contributions — When you contribute to the network — leading a workshop, writing a piece, hosting a visit — you're paid for the work.
- Reduced registration at partner events — Member discounts at partner conferences and events across the student-centered-learning ecosystem.
- Vetted nonprofit partnerships — A short list of partner organizations whose work has been reviewed and used by MLCN member schools.

Joining MLCN is a public commitment to anti-racist, learner-centered practice. Member schools and partner organizations agree to:
- Examine our own practices for systemic inequity and act on what we find.
- Honor the full humanity of every student in how we design learning.
- Dismantle hierarchical power structures inside our schools and our network.
- Amplify the narratives of educators and students closest to the work.
Eligibility.
Schools. Minnesota schools — public, charter, district, alternative — committed to learner-centered, equitable learning. Membership is by school, not by individual.
Partner organizations. Nonprofits and other organizations participate as partners by invitation, after their work has been reviewed by member schools.
Dues. Free for the 2026–27 pilot year. Sliding-scale annual dues begin in 2027–28 — and no school is ever turned away for inability to pay. Talk to us first.
